A flexible high-barrier film that welds directly onto an rPET tray. A very thin gauge film, it has a density of <1, making is highly sustainable.
This thin gauge is to ensure that the top film floats to the surface in the sink-float tank, while the PET sinks to the bottom.
This way the PET flakes do not become contaminated.

They are conic or self-assembling compact cardboard baskets, that can be delivered already built or flat (pre-cut). We can also produce an alternative in corrugated cardboard, for those companies that need an additional protection for their products.

Disposable cardboard tray that can be used to bake foodstuffs, such as cakes and other pastries, in the oven. They can also be used to reheat food without loss of quality.
They are self assembling, and they can be produced in a range of shapes and sizes to fit any particular needs. They can also be manufactured with grease-proof papers.
These trays can withstand up to 245 degrees (ºC) and 45 minutes in the oven. Other temperatures and longer times would require an industrial testing in each specific installation.

Our thermoformable rPET monolayer laminate is made 100% material post-consumer recycled (PCR).
Of this more than 50% is recycled material from trays, and it is 100% recyclable.
This facilitates its classification and recycling where the infrastructure exists to do so. Its excellent degree of transparency is comparable with products made from virgin plastic, and its specific mechanical properties ensure it will withstand any impact during the packaging process.
SP GROUP rPET is entirely suitable for food use, and holds EFSA certificate No. 2017/4843.

RST B ECO, our new thermoformable base web, is a recyclable polypropylene-based material that is suitable for heat treatments such as retort processing. Designed for vacuum packing, the material was created to meet the EU guidelines on the circular economy.
This material is part of our ECO range, which comprises SP Group’s recyclable, monomaterial packaging solutions.
The combination of the RST B ECO base web and PP HB ECOTOP flexible top film is a fully recyclable solution for vacuum packing, as more than 90% of it is polypropylene. The remaining materials do not interfere in the recycling process.
Properties:
High-barrier material, suitable for retort processing. High puncture and tear resistance.
Applications:
This material is ideal for food products that need to be sterilised and vacuum packed. It is perfect for pre-prepared, vacuum-packed fruit and vegetable products, such as corn, beetroot, etc.
Cardboard laminated with PET that can be printed or colored. It can be suitable for food contact and it is easily die-cut to manufacture boxes, plates, trays or other food containers that can be used to store and refrigerate foodstuffs.
We can manufacture the cardboard pre-cut in the size required by the client or we can alternatively supply the whole cardboard in any size for the client to perform its own manufacturing process.

Applications:
Market applications for this material: Processed meat and dairy products, such as cured sausage products and cheese, frozen fish and seafood, dried fruit and other dried food products, ranging from spices and superfoods to cereals and legumes. It is also a good option for many products in the non-food sector, for example personal hygiene products, gels and shampoos, and cleaning products, among others.
MACHINE CHARACTERISTICS:
-Production line consisting of three stations:
oInjector with three rows of nozzles to inject 27 croissants simultaneously, and with three needles per nozzle so that the product is well distributed.
oGelatine station that impregnates the croissants with gelatine.
oTopping unit with ribbon for the chocolate chips to fall onto the product and get stuck in the gelatine layer.
-Injection quantity and injection speed are set on the screen, allowing a more precise adjustment.
-Between the injection belt and the gelatine belt, which is made up of cords, there is a transfer belt so that the croissants fall correctly in position and without turning, and are stacked for the gelatine shower.
