The PURIMAR System has been designed and manufactured to meet IMO's requirements for Ballast Water Management System. At ballasting, the ballast water treatment process performed bt the PURIMAR System comprises two main unit operations :
1. mechanical separation(filtering) and 2. disinfection(electrolysis based chlorination).
In the first step, the filter(50㎛ filter fineness) removes particles, sediments and organisms of the large size classes.
