The ERGYSPORT REGEN’ drink contains carbohydrates which help to recover normal muscle function (cramps) after an intense and/or prolonged physical effort. It compensates for the nutrient loss which causes muscle fatigue and reduced glycogen reserves in the skeletal muscles. The beneficial effect is obtained by the consumption of carbohydrates, regardless of source, to give a total dose of 4 g per kg bodyweight, in fractionated doses in the first four hours following this effort, and no longer than 6 hours later.
