EWS ergreift Maßnahmen gegen Vibrationen bei Tiefbohrverfahren
Tiefbohrverfahren mit Bohrstangen mit langem Überhang gehören zu den anspruchsvollsten Aufgaben in der Zerspanungstechnik.
Was beeinflusst Vibrationen, welche Amplituden erzeugt sie, welche Auswirkungen hat überlagerte Vibration und wann treten unkontrollierbare Resonanzen auf? All diese Fragen sind mit Theorie allein schwer zu beantworten.
Diese Erkenntnisse bildeten die Grundlage für die Neuentwicklung von EWS Rigid. Ziel war es, einen Bohrhalter mit einem passiven Dämpfungssystem zu schaffen, um den erzeugten Vibrationen entgegenzuwirken. Dabei kommen variable Vibrationsdämpfer mit linearen Freiheitsgraden in einer schwebenden Montage innerhalb des Schneidträgers zum Einsatz.
Die Dämpferposition wird über eine radial montierte Schraube eingestellt, die optimale Vibrationsbedingungen schafft.
Die Verbesserung der Oberflächenqualität von Bohrungen ist erheblich, ebenso wie die Erhöhung der Lebensdauer von Schneidwerkzeugen.
