At least one belt pulley must have a rim flange. The toothed belt pulleys have a centre bore or a pilot hole (this can vary due to manufacturing methods). For this reason, the dimension D2 max. given in the table is the maximum diameter of the bore with which the toothed belt pulleys are supplied. This pilot/centre bore can be amended by the customer to produce a reamed bore, reamed bore with keyway or a tapped hole. Alternatively, customers can also use bushes to reduce the bore diameter. PiPulleys are produced according to the interational regulations BS 37901981DIN 211ISO 4183. Those pulleys are made of GG25 grey cast iron and a special black phosphating treatment on the surface is added. They can be used up to a peripheric speed of 30 mt/sec. Beyond this limit it is advised to usehigh resistance materials. Our pulleys are balanced according to the ISOG16 standard.
