Το πρωτόγαλα περιέχει θρεπτικά συστατικά, παράγοντες ανοσοποιητικού συστήματος, παράγοντες ανάπτυξης και γενικά έναν αριθμό βιοενεργών συστατικών. Το πρωτόγαλα αποτελεί πλούσια πηγή πρωτεϊνών υψηλής βιολογικής αξίας, υδατανθρακών και μικρή ποσότητα λίπους. Επίσης, περιέχει βιταμίνες, όπως βιταμίνη Α, Ε, Β12 και ανόργανα στοιχεία στην κατάλληλη αναλογία για μέγιστη απορρόφηση και βιοδιαθεσιμότητα. Ως παράγοντες ανοσοποιητικού συστήματος περιέχει κυρίως ανοσοσφαιρίνες (20%) (αντισώματα ΙgΑ, ΙgG, ΙgM), λακτοφερρίνη, κυτοκίνες και ιντερλευκίνη. Ως παράγοντες ανάπτυξης και βιονεργών συστατικών περιέχει παράγοντες αύξησης, ολιγοπολυσακχαρίτες, πολυπεπτίδια κ.α. Το συγκεκριμένο πρωτόγαλα περιέχει τουλάχιστον 70% πρωτεΐνη, ως ξηρά ουσία και δεν περιέχει προσθήκη μεμονωμένων αμινοξέων. Το συγκεκριμένο πρωτόγαλα παράγεται και επεξεργάζεται σύμφωνα με τις υψηλότερες προδιαγραφές και σύμφωνα με τις απαιτήσεις της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης.
