The piping system consists of high-grade NiroSan® press fittings with an EPDM (=ethylene propylene dien rubber) moulded sealing ring and NiroSan® stainless steel system pipes according to EN 10312.
All NiroSan® press fittings are made from the premium stainless steel type 1.4404 / AISI 316L (for pressing components) and 1.4408 (for precision cast threaded stainless steel components). The material 1.4404 contains at least 2.3 % molybdenum, yet less carbon than the conventional type 1.4401. Thereby these materials are not only of equal value but in addition, material 1.4404 / 316L stands out on account of its considerably higher corrosion resistance.
The NiroSan® press system and its components are certified in accordance with the rules and regulations of all important European certification bodies.

The automatic plate saw VPS60-160A is BEHRINGER's solution when it comes to fully automatic cross-cutting of large plates and blocks. The vertical arrangement of the saw band has clear advantages over the horizontal design, as the engagement length of the saw band is significantly shorter. As a result, the cross cutting plate saw offers significantly higher cutting capacities while at the same time reducing tool costs.
Thanks to their robust basic design and high-performance components, the automatic plate saws of the VPS series are designed for demanding applications in the steel trade, industry and metal production. All NiroSan® Gas press fittings are made of the material 1.4404 / AISI 316L (for moulded fittings) and 1.4408 (for threaded fittings and stainless steel precision castings). The material contains at a minimum of 2.3 % molybdenum and a lower carbon content than the conventional steel quality 316. The ultraprecision turning machine (UP-Turning machine) MTC 400 (Micro Turning Center) is designed to hold heavy weight workpieces up to 100 kg. The travelling distances of the X- and Z-axis are 400 mm and provide the machining of workpieces up to 800 mm in diameter. The MTC 400 is based on a T-shaped natural granite bed. X- and Z-axis slides, as well as the housing of the main spindle are made of granite too. Both slides and the optional B-axis use hydrostatic (oil) bearings. The main spindle features an air bearing and is mounted to the X-slide. Different vacuum chucks for workpieces of up to 800 mm (31.5’’) in diameter are available. Besides many other accessories, that make the MTC 250 an all-purpose tool, there is the possibility to make customized solutions, to adapt the machine to your needs. The innovative SANHA installation system NiroTherm® combines high-quality NiroTherm® press fittings with a black sealing ring made from EPDM (=ethylene propylene diem rubber) and NiroTherm® stainless steel system tubes. The system is produced from the material 1.4301 (AISI 304). Due to the well-known corrosion resistance of stainless steel, NiroTherm® offers installers therefore a real alternative compared to conventional steels when it comes to closed systems in humid atmospheres such as screed. Since it needs considerably less isolation against humidity*, the installation is faster and labour costs accordingly lower. In addition to the system description, NiroTherm® system press fittings are marked on the outside with a red dot. * This does not affect thermal insulation necessitated by national energy efficiency laws.

A spectacle blind consists of a spade and a spacer which are manufactured for the purpose of installation in one piece. It is used as a safety device to isolate a particular section of pipe or equipment when this section or this equipment is to be inspected or decommissioned. It is different from a valve in the sense that the obturator is considered an isolation device.
Depending on the size and class of flanges, it will be more suitable to offer two separate components (spade and spacer) instead of a spectacle blind to limit weight and avoid handling heavy parts.
