Die Konstruktionen der KMH Dachlaufstege sind aufgeständerte Tragkonstruktionen aus Hohl-, Winkel-, T- oder Flachstahlprofilen mit feuerverzinkten Oberflächen. Dabei ist sicherzustellen, dass die Konstruktion gut verankert auf den Falzstegen montiert ist. Im Gehbereich der KMH Dachlaufstege werden Gitterroste mit Gleitschutzausführung in Winkelrahmen der Tragkonstruktion eingelegt um die notwendige Rutschsicherheit zu gewährleisten. Als Absturzsicherung werden Geländer, mind. 1000 mm hoch, rund um den Dachaustieg und entlang des Dachlaufsteges montiert. Die Geländerelemente sind untereinander verbundene Rahmenkonstruktionen, die Geländer-Steher werden stabil am Dach - ohne Einbindung in die Dachhaut - verankert.
