GEDA – worldwide presence with products made in Germany Founded in 1929 GEDA GmbH has specialized in designing and manufacturing hoists to be used on construction sites and for industrial purposes all over the world. The wide range of products comprises, amongst others, rope guided hoists, rack and pinion hoists, rubbish chutes, mast climbing platforms as well as ladder hoists and safety systems for hoists. GEDA machines are able to transport loads from 60 kg to 3.7 tonnes. People and materials can be lifted up to a height of 400 m. With all this, GEDA offers by far the widest product range of all building hoist constructors worldwide. Moreover, the company has a special department for building maintenance units and has been in the industrial elevator business for years. GEDA has become one of the leading producers worldwide over the last nine decades. Today 500 employees ensure the high quality of GEDA products. Another decisive factor is the employment of state of the art technologies for designing as well as for manufacturing the machines. There are three locations in Germany, next to the headquarters in Asbach-Bäumenheim (in the federal state of Bavaria), branches in Gera and in Bergkamen. In addition, international branches in the USA and of course an international established dealer network, which guarantees the supply of spare parts and a sufficient number of service points in Germany and around the world.

Maschinenfabrik Berthold HERMLE AG is a German listed company with its head office in Gosheim in the district of Tuttlingen and is one of the leading manufacturers of milling machines. Globally there are more than 30000 machines in use, mainly at suppliers of medical technology, in the optical industry, in aviation, in the automotive industry and in motor sport. The most important components are developed and manufactured in Gosheim. HERMLE’s universal milling machines and machining centres are used for the machining of tools, moulds and series-produced parts. HERMLE produces small to medium-sized three to five-axis milling centres for a wide range of applications. Even machines for applications with increased demands on precision or machining volumes are manufactured. The different machine models are available with magazine extensions and a pallet changer. Furthermore, various handling systems are offered directly from the manufacturer. HERMLE is all about milling and achieving outstanding results. It stands for high-performance, highly innovative machining centres which have risen to a leading position nationally and internationally. It stands for a far-reaching and closely meshed sales and service network and for a worldwide presence.
