Our design office specialises in the development and realisation of complex interior and exterior solutions as well as FEM calculation of structural assemblies in the field of railway car construction, including innovative WC and shower systems, onboard restaurants and galleys with tank and water systems. Our design team creates functional, attractive and production-optimised solutions. We are also happy to advise you with regard to the preparation of your projects, clarifying the technical requirements, interfaces, standard requirements and boundary conditions to be taken into account and working with you to develop efficient concepts. In the field of special machines and systems, we develop individual solutions for our customers tailored precisely to their special requirements. EKT Thalheim & Das Kofferwerk GmbH was established in 1998 from the former Thalheim case factory in Germany's Ore Mountains. Out of the existing operations for the production of travel cases and bags, the products have been adapted to meet the current demand of the market and the required parameters for our certification as per DIN EN ISO 9001: 2008. Having renewed our entire fleet of machinery, trained up specialist personnel and established our own CAD department, we can produce all kinds of covers, technical containers, packages and special items according to customer wishes and price requirements. We develop, manufacture and sell custom sewed products as well as technical cases and bags. In doing so, we combine the traditional craftsmanship of a small-scale enterprise with the latest methods in manufacturing. The requirements of our valued customers remain at the forefront of our entrepreneurial activities.
