CVEP GmbH has been providing its customers comprehensive advice on several product areas since 2016, on the basis of the enterprise concept, thereby familiarising their customers with technologies and designs from the areas of OEM, suppliers and trade. The variety of products we offer as a manufacturer and distributor provides many advantages for customers and saves them time when carrying out time-consuming searches for new products for their applications. All our applications and developments satisfy the quality standards in the OEM application field. All of our suppliers are certified. As manufacturers, we develop and produce complex individually customised central electrical systems, with and without intelligent control units, as well as special relays and CAN I/O modules. For this we use our modular housings, which are splash-proof and water-tight according to IP67.

What began with only one employee in 1998 is today a family-owned company in the second generation with about 50 employees. Wire meshes made of metal or plastic are produced at DGS as coils, but we also manufacture wire mesh products such as filters, droplet separators or pressed parts, just the way our customers need it. It was founded in 1924 as a distributor of printing blankets, under the name Birkner & Kandlbinder OHG, with its own patent for Triumph rubber printing blankets ‒ revolutionary technology at the time. BIRKAN continues to enjoy success with its offset printing blankets, produced in-house and exported to over 100 countries worldwide. BIRKAN carries a comprehensive range of printing blankets to meet different quality requirements, suitable not only for common offset applications but also for specialised requirements in plastics, metal and intaglio printing. Our range also includes underpacking materials (sheets, foils, press boards and blankets) and measuring equipment. Our extensive inventory allows us to deliver promptly around the world. As a special service, BIRKAN also provides the option of a commissioning warehouse. A new branch of the company ‒ direct laser engraving ‒ is devoted to manufacturing elastomer printing plates.
