Bei den meisten Bearbeitungsschritten, wie schweißen, schleifen und biegen, wird die Passivschicht von Edelstahl rostfrei zerstört. Diese kann sich durch den Luftsauerstoff zwar neu bilden, dieser Vorgang kann aber bis zu 3 Wochen dauern. In dieser Zeit ist der Edelstahl nicht geschützt und es kann durch Fremdferrite wie Bremsstaub oder Eisenstaub zu Korrosion kommen. Auch Streusalz kann im Winter zu Rost führen. Um den Vorgang der Passivierung zu beschleunigen und den Stahl wieder zu schützen empfiehlt sich die Behandlung mit einer Passivierungslösung. Die Passivschicht bildet sich sofort. Diese Schicht ist dicker als bei der Eigenpassivierung. Um sicher zu gehen, dass die Oberfläche frei von Säuren ist, sollte das ablaufende Wasser mit einem Indikatorpapier auf Neutralität getestet werden. Der Edelstahl-Reiniger FL 3000 wurde speziell für die Reinigung von Edelstahl entwickelt. Er entfernt mühelos organische Verunreinigungen, Kalk und Ablagerungen von der Überwinterung. Rostspuren von z.B. Haarspangen und Verfärbungen von z.B. Kupfermünzen werden gelöst. Bei Schwimmbecken wird die Tag / Nachtlinie mit Leichtigkeit gelöst und vollständig entfernt. Der Edelstahl wird wieder hell und sauber. Wenn vor allem Rost- und Kalkablagerungen auf der Oberfläche befinden und nur wenige Öle und Fette, dann empfehlen wir unseren Reiniger FL 1010. Um sicher zu gehen, dass die Oberfläche frei von Säuren ist, sollte das ablaufende Wasser mit einem Indikatorpapier auf Neutralität getestet werden.
