Der OPTIBAR PC 5060 ist ein Druckmessumformer für Prozessdruck- und hydrostatische Füllstandmessungen in unterschiedlichsten Prozessanwendungen. Er ist für die Absolut- und Relativdruckmessung in offenen Tanks und – als duale Variante für die elektronische Differenzdruckmessung – auch für den Einsatz in geschlossenen Behältern ausgelegt. Das Druckmessgerät umfasst eine kapazitive Keramikmesszelle, die maximale Überlast- und Vakuumfestigkeit garantiert, so dass eine hohe Anlagenverfügbarkeit gewährleistet ist.
Die Messzelle erlaubt einen absolut frontbündigen Einbau in den Prozess. Zudem bietet die radial zurückgesetzte Lage der Dichtung einen zusätzlichen Schutz in abrasiven Medien. Der Messumformer ist beständig gegenüber plötzlichen Temperaturwechseln und verträgt Betriebstemperaturen. Er kann auch in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen und PLT-Sicherheitseinrichtungen eingesetzt werden.

With its rugged housing and a stainless steel sensor element, the transducer is particularly robust and ideally suited to the harshest environments. This also means that the sensor can be installed anywhere with no effect on the measurement signal. The built-in instrumentation amplifier converts the sensor signals into noise-immune voltage signals or current signals that can be transmitted over relatively long distances. For high viscose materials, a front-level membrane M12 x 1 is available, and with this disruptive dead volumes can be expelled.
The sensor has a small protected hole on the rear to allow measurement of atmospheric pressure (measurement type relative). For the absolute measurement option, the applied pressure is measured with respect to an enclosed vacuum.
As an electrical connection, a DIN 43650A valve connector or an M12 x 1, 4-pin connection is available.

The OPTIBAR PC 5060 is a pressure transmitter for process pressure and hydrostatic level measurement in all kinds of process applications. It is designed for absolute and gauge pressure measurement in open tanks and – as dual version for electronic differential pressure measurement – also in closed vessels. The pressure device features a ceramic capacitive measuring cell that guarantees maximum overload and vacuum resistance for high plant availability.
The measuring cell can be built into the process absolutely flush and the radially recessed position of the gasket provides additional protection in abrasive media. It is resistant to sudden temperature shocks and can handle operating temperatures of up to +150°C/ +302°F. The OPTIBAR PC 5060 comes with robust plastic and aluminium housing or hygienic stainless steel versions (incl. ingress protection IP69k).
