Sinus GmbH was founded in 2002 in Mönsheim, Swabia. In January 2012, Mr Bassem Bouhlel purchased Sinus GmbH. Since then, Mr Bouhlel has been the Managing Director of Sinus GmbH. In 2012, immediately after the business handover of Sinus GmbH, the company headquarters moved from Mönsheim to Kerpen. At the end of 2014, the company headquarters was relocated again – from Kerpen to Hamburg. That's when a storage area was also added to the office spaces, so that commissioning of orders could take place from a single source. Due to the growing goods turnover, the company headquarters was relocated in 2021 to the strategically optimised site in Bargteheide, where the storage area was expanded by more than 2000 m². We are thus able to provide our range in large volumes for our customers. Thanks to decades of experience in the area of filter technology, we are able to realise and supervise large-scale projects. In-house storage logistics allows us to respond flexibly and efficiently to customer requests. Our Shipping department is happy to undertake transport of their goods. We are motivated to process all requests and matters within 24 hours, and be by the customer's side all over the world as a partner in issues of filtration, end oilers, separators, motors and accessories. Our patented casting resin system, ALWA MOULD D, is the fastest curing casting resin system in the world. It is very easy to process and does not need to be post-tempered. Our easy to use system has a pot life of only 20 minutes! Deep drawing can take place immediately after demoulding. From 1 to 2500 kg, everything from large bathtubs to small chocolate moulds can be cast. Commercial vehicle manufacturer Aixam has been successfully working with our system for years. With our innovative ALWA POR porous plates, the time-consuming drilling of vacuum holes is no longer necessary. They impress with high stability, compressive strength and a permanent temperature resistance of over 190 °C. ALWA POR is suitable for vacuum deep drawing and forming processes as well as aeration for aquariums, fish ponds and sewage treatment plants, ventilation of injection and blow moulds, all processes with hot air and steam, vacuum clamping technology, filter applications, air film sliding technology, foundry, etc.

Filter presses are our specialty! Whether conventional chamber filter presses, accessories or fully automatic membrane filter presses. With almost 30 years of experience in filtration, AQUACHEM offers an efficient and optimal solution for many applications. We are particularly proud of our AF filter machines. The fully automatic press is a mature and reliable system that has already proven itself many times under the toughest conditions. Compared to our competitors in the market, the difference we offer lies in myriad details and, primarily, in the definition of 'fully automatic operation'. The AF filter machine continuously produces and empties filter cakes without the presence of an operator. It is guaranteed that no medium can escape in an uncontrolled manner.
