The history of Stähle GmbH is thought to have begun back in 1984 with the foundation of Kurt Stähle Steuergeräte. Just a few years after it was founded, the company was able to provide an extensive product range with special problem solutions for measuring, control and medical technology. For example, safety control valves for temperatures between -265 °C and +200 °C and AP200 Autopilot for driving passenger vehicles onto roller test benches under climatic conditions between -40 °C and +80 °C. On 21.09.1987, Kurt Stähle Steuergeräte was divided up into the two companies Stähle GmbH and Ingenieurbüro Kurt Stähle. The products are produced and sold by Stähle GmbH. Ingenieurbüro Kurt Stähle offers new and further developments of hardware and software. Thanks to high manufacturing autonomy paired with a modern, cost-oriented management system, high flexibility is implemented at low production costs

W.AG Funktion + Design GmbH, based in Geisa, Germany, was founded in 1992 and currently has 180 employees. Bertram Göb is the managing director. W.AG started out initially as a supplier of technical injection moulding components, but soon went on to develop its own range of cases and containers. The company's major breakthrough happened in 1997 with the TEKNO plastic case. Building on this success, W.AG developed numerous other case, box and containers series in the following years, such as the small product packaging SWING, the heavy-duty case HEAVY, the JAZZ model range, the slim plastic case BEAT and the highly functional design case TWIST. Alongside developing cases and boxes and continuously expanding into injection moulding and tool manufacturing, the company built up competencies in areas of foam processing and printing technology.

Rudolf M. Brittling founded BMR, which is based in Schwabach in Bavaria, in 1978. The initial focus of the business was on manufacturing products for Triumpf Adler office suppliers and the Lehmann-Eisenbahnen model railways. At the same time, the company set up its electronics manufacturing and developed its own electronic control systems. In 1988, BMR took over a big share of switch manufacturing at the Sasse group, providing itself with a second pillar of work. At this time, the production range included pump control systems for lubricating heavy good vehicles and battery chargers, for example. The incorporation of the frequency converter product area in 1990 was of crucial importance. Thanks to more than 60 years of concentrated further development of our core business, our company now specialises in producing grids and meshes of all kinds for our customers. We provide products both for retail and directly for end customers. Our company was founded in 1945 as a metalworking company with subdivisions for fencing and door construction. Even in its early years, the company incorporated a small mechanical engineering department, in order to design wire processing machines for in-house use. In the 1970s, wire weaving developed into an equally important source of income for the company. In 1978, the first fully automatic production facility for corrugated grids and stamping grids was built, the company relocated to Erkrath and new markets were opened up thanks to the company concentrating on manufacturing wire meshes. In 1995, the product range was expanded to include spot-welded grids and profile edgings. Manufacturing is now carried out on four fully automated production lines.
